Frequently Asked Questions
-
This is for people ready to actually commit, not just dip a toe in. Real progress takes real time and effort, and that's not a half-and-half thing. If you're willing to put in the work, I'll provide the support and structure you need to hit your goals. Fit and commitment level are things we'll talk through properly on the intake call, so we're both clear this is the right move before we start.
-
You'll fill in an in-depth questionnaire so I can get the full picture upfront. If there are spots open, I'll send a link to book an intake call to go over that in more detail and make sure it's a mutual fit. From there we pick the right plan for you and map out a plan of action and rough timeframes together.
-
Instead of a trial, I run an in-depth screening process before you start, so the plan actually fits you from day one. Trial periods are sometimes available as part of a specific offering or campaign; check Instagram (@wtf_coaching) to see what's currently running.
-
Yes. Whether you're a teenager just starting to lift or coming back after a long break, new lifters are welcome.
-
Here's what's included at each level:
Foundation, you track your food through the training app.
Coaching, you get access to a third-party nutrition app with in-depth tracking, plus nutrition coaching and feedback.
Performance, you get a fully personalised meal plan.
-
Both. Programming adjusts to what's relevant for you, cycle-informed training for women, and hormonal regulation and training-stress management for everyone.
-
Yes, at Performance tier. I've competed in several sports at a reasonably high level (county level), including combat and physically explosive sports (judo, fencing, basketball, swimming, sprinting, shot put, long jump), and build programming around what those demands actually require.
-
Bodybuilding contest prep, No* - Prep carries large levels of hormonal impact that doesn't align with how I coach and the benefits of training, so it's not something I offer.
Photoshoot prep, possibly depending on your reason for that goal. This could be discussed during an intake call.
*I'm happy to recommend a few contest prep coaches that I would highly rate if that's something that you're after.
-
Either works, but you'll likely see the best results training in a gym rather than at home, since home setups are usually limited by available equipment. Programming can still be built around a full gym setup or a home/minimal equipment situation, whatever you've actually got access to.
-
A mix of measures rather than just the scale, weight, measurements, progress photos, check-in forms, energy and stress levels, and how training is actually feeling, all tracked within a defined training app. What's tracked flexes a bit depending on your goals.
-
Coaching can support training around a diagnosed condition, but it isn't a substitute for medical care. If you have a diagnosed condition, ongoing symptoms, or you're on medication, check with your doctor or a relevant specialist before starting, and let your coach know so training can be adjusted appropriately.
-
That's what the check-ins are for. Training gets adjusted around your actual recovery capacity rather than forced through a fixed weekly template.
-
I don't provide specific rehabilitation training, that's best handled by a specialist. What I can do is support your training around an injury or once you're cleared to return, working alongside any medical or rehab care you're already receiving.
-
Yes, within scope and alongside your medical clearance.
-
Where possible, yes, this is handled case by case depending on the restriction and the plan you're on, we'll discuss it on the intake call.
For concerns like anorexia or bulimia, I may recommend a professional consult alongside coaching.
-
That depends on you, your effort, consistency, and individual body all play a part, so results can't be guaranteed. What I can guarantee is giving you the structure and tools to get there.
-
All plans run on an initial 3-month minimum commitment, then move into a monthly rolling payment. Cancelling before the 3-month minimum is up still falls under the cancellation policy.
-
Cancellation requires a minimum of 1 month's advance notice on all plans.
Refunds only apply to bulk purchases, and only when cancellation notice has been given correctly, otherwise refunds are forgone. On approved bulk-purchase refunds, the 1-month cancellation period is deducted from the refunded amount.
Pause requests are subject to approval depending on the reason provided, initial 3-month commitments are not eligible to be paused.
-
As quickly as possible, but I coach part-time alongside a full-time job, so replies and check-in calls typically land in the evenings or on weekends.
