LEGAL
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 31 October 2026
These terms explain how WTF Coaching works, what you can expect from me, and what I expect from you. Please read them before you sign up. By paying for a coaching plan, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
WTF Coaching (With True Form) is run by Liam Irvine, a sole trader based in Ireland. In these terms, "WTF Coaching", "we", "us" and "I" mean Liam Irvine trading as WTF Coaching, and "you" means the person signing up for coaching.
You can contact us at help@wtfcoaching.com. Formal or legal notices can be sent to legal@wtfcoaching.com.
2. Our services
WTF Coaching provides online personal training and wellness coaching. All coaching is delivered remotely through our coaching app, messaging, email and video calls. We do not provide in-person training.
We currently offer three plans: Essentials, 1:1 Coaching and Performance. What each plan includes, and its price, is set out on our Pricing page at the time you sign up.
3. Who can sign up
You must be 18 or over to sign up for coaching.
You must give us accurate and complete information, including about your health, and keep it up to date.
We may decline to coach anyone if we don't think coaching is suitable or safe for them, or if a plan isn't the right fit.
4. Your health and safety
Exercise and changes to nutrition carry some risk. Before you start, you'll complete a health questionnaire (PAR-Q). You must tell us about any medical condition, injury, medication, pregnancy or recent surgery, and about any changes while you're coaching with us.
Medical clearance: if your questionnaire raises a concern, or you're pregnant, postpartum, recovering from surgery or managing a diagnosed condition, we may ask for written clearance from your doctor or a relevant specialist before you start or continue.
Not medical advice: WTF Coaching is not a medical, physiotherapy, dietetic or mental health service. Nothing we provide is a diagnosis or treatment, or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Nutrition guidance is general and based on the information you give us. It is not a clinical diet for a medical condition. If you have or have had an eating disorder, we may require support from a qualified specialist before providing nutrition coaching, or decline it.
Train within your limits: you are responsible for exercising safely, using suitable equipment and surroundings, warming up, and following the rules of any gym you use. Stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath.
Emergencies: our messaging is not monitored for emergencies. In an emergency, call 112 or 999.
5. Discovery calls
A discovery call is a chance for both of us to decide whether coaching is the right fit. Booking a call doesn't commit you to buying a plan, and doesn't commit us to accepting you as a client.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are in euro. WTF Coaching is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
Payments are taken securely by card or SEPA Direct Debit through Stripe.
When you sign up, you pay for your first month and your final month up front. The final-month payment is an advance payment for your last month of coaching. It is not a fee or a deposit, and it is held until you give notice.
After that, your plan renews and is charged monthly on the same date as your first payment, until you give notice.
Failed payments: if a payment fails, we'll let you know and you'll have 7 days to fix it. If it isn't resolved, coaching may be paused until it is.
Price changes: we may change our prices. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
7. Your 14-day right to cancel
As a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of signing up, without giving a reason.
To cancel, email help@wtfcoaching.com with your name and a clear statement that you're cancelling. You can use the wording: "I am cancelling my contract with WTF Coaching."
When you sign up, you ask us to start your coaching straight away, during the 14-day period. You also acknowledge that much of the work in your first month is done up front, including reviewing your health questionnaire, onboarding, and building your personalised programme (and meal plan, where your plan includes one). If you cancel within those 14 days, your final-month payment is refunded in full. From your first-month payment, we’ll keep the cost of the coaching provided up to the date you told us you were cancelling, including the programme-building and onboarding work already completed, and refund the rest.
We'll make any refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the same payment method you used.
8. Cancelling after 14 days
There is no minimum term. A minimum of 3 months is recommended to see meaningful progress, but it is not required.
You can give notice to cancel at any time by emailing help@wtfcoaching.com.
When you give notice, the month you're currently in continues as normal. Your final month is then covered by the advance payment you made at sign-up, and you won't be charged again. Your coaching ends at the end of that final month.
Payments for months that have already started are not refundable, except where the law requires it or where we haven't provided the services you paid for.
9. Pausing your plan
We'll consider requests to pause your plan case by case, for example for illness, injury or a major life event. A pause has to be agreed with us in writing before it starts, and we'll confirm how it affects your billing.
10. If we end or change your coaching
We may end your coaching by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. If we do, we'll refund any payment for a month of coaching you won't receive, including your final-month payment if it hasn't been used.
We may end or suspend your coaching immediately if you don't pay, give us false or misleading health information, behave abusively towards us, or seriously break these terms. If this happens, we'll refund any payment for a month that hasn't started.
We may make reasonable changes to how coaching is delivered, such as the app we use. We won't reduce what's included in your plan without telling you, and if a change is significant you can cancel and receive a refund for any month that hasn't started.
11. Your responsibilities
Follow your programme sensibly, and tell us if something feels wrong or your circumstances change.
Complete your check-ins and respond to messages so we can coach you properly.
Treat us respectfully in all communication.
Keep your app login details private.
12. Results
Results depend on many things outside our control, including your effort, consistency, sleep, stress, health and individual physiology. We'll give you the structure, programming and support set out in your plan, but we can't guarantee any particular result, such as weight loss, strength gains or changes in body composition.
13. Response times
We answer messages Monday to Friday, in line with your plan: within 24 hours on 1:1 Coaching and the same day on Performance. Essentials includes a monthly written review rather than ongoing messaging. Live calls are scheduled in the evenings or at weekends. Response times may be longer on Irish public holidays, which we'll let you know about in advance where possible.
14. Our content
Your programmes, meal plans, guides, videos and other materials are created by WTF Coaching and remain our intellectual property. They're for your own personal use while you're a client. You may not share, copy, sell or publish them without our written permission.
15. Third-party services
We use third-party services to deliver coaching, including our coaching app, MyFitnessPal (optional), Stripe for payments and Google for email and video calls. Your use of those services is also covered by their own terms. We're not responsible for outages or problems with services we don't control, but we'll do our best to keep your coaching running if one of them fails.
16. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
By taking part in coaching, you accept that physical exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for injury, illness or loss caused by you not following your programme or our guidance, exercising beyond your limits, not disclosing relevant health information, or using unsafe equipment or surroundings.
We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you signed up, or for business losses such as loss of income or opportunity.
Subject to the first paragraph in this section, our total liability to you for any claim connected with your coaching is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
17. Your personal data
We handle your personal data, including health information you share with us, in line with our Privacy Policy and data protection law, including the GDPR.
18. Complaints
If you're unhappy with any part of your coaching, please email help@wtfcoaching.com first. We aim to respond within 5 working days and to resolve things fairly and quickly.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change affects you as an existing client, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree with the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
20. General
These terms, together with your plan details on our Pricing page, are the whole agreement between you and us.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies.
If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you, and you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
